2001 2500HD with 8.1 stalling

I have a 2001 2500 HD with the 8.1L, It sometimes will die at low idle or at a stop. When I try to start it back it will spin over and run the battery down. Also sometimes after it set's over night it will pin over and then start. I have replaced the fuel pump and filter.

Replaced battery, it was bad, it still stalls, now it will do it going down the road. stalled twice in about a 10 min. span.
