2001 gmc troubles

i have a 01 gmc sierra 1500 with the v6 i have fire i have fuel and air and compression but she will not run what could be going on i changed the timing chain but put everything where it is supposed to be is there a possibility that it has a sensor that wont let it start if there is now water circulating threw it as i have the serp belt off tryin to get the first start up before i completely re assemble?

ok so heres what i got i was told it was running but i dont think it was the timing marks were off my mistake so i redid that and everything is fine now but my fuel pump is not workin for some reason and i was told it was a new one i checked the relays under the hood and they were fine so is this just the fuel pump being bad ? and to top all off the starter has gone bad ,,,,,, any one wanna buy a gmc lol opinoins

ok so i have pulled my fuel pump tested it nd it is good perfect working order but have discovered that there is no fire going to the fuel pump as to why it was not working any body know where the fuses and relays are for this i have changed the fuel pump relay under the hood in the electrical box but still no fire thanks !!!
