Ok, here's the problem. If you live in the US, you know it's hotter then h*ll right now. I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy SLE with about 97,xxx miles on it...and I've had some issues within the last 24 hrs. To start off, here is what I have replaced on the vehicle so far within the last 2-ish yrs of owning.
Fuel Pump, Water Pump, Thermostat, Spark Plugs, Intake Gasket, Radiator, Brake Pads and rotors. (I believe that's everything)
So, I got off work late last night...it wouldn't start, it was just clicking like it was dead. I had low power to my interior lights and headlights, but it just wasn't enough to get it started, got a jump start and made it home. This morning and all day, I've had no problem starting it...took it to Advanced Autoparts (just to be sure) tested the battery AND the alternator, no problem! They both tested fine. BUT, here's my concern. While driving with the AC on it bogs down my engine HORRIBLY, so I figure...ok it a sauna outside, so I shut it off. But even when I turned it off, it would barely get up to 30mph! Didn't matter if I feathered the throttle or floored the sucker, it just sputtered/stuttered and wouldn't get up to speed (45 mph)
Now is where I ask for HELP! I'm thinking, ok maybe fuel filter like I've seen people mention, but the battery being drained threw me off (since I left no lights on or anything in the vehicle!)
