I had asked a question before but did not get any replies. Figured I may not have put enough info. She has 2001 Jimmy, 4.3, 97k miles.
Need to know why she keeps getting misfire codes after tuneup. Is it the coil? Tune up done included spark plugs, rotor button, plug wires, distributor cap. Was getting misfire codes before but a tune up had not been done since new, so figured it was due for one. When she gets misfire code, its always on cylinder 2 (PO302), but cant understand why its still misfiring after the tune-up. Had misfire before on cylinder 3, but that went away after changing the spark plug (old one was definitely wore out!). Coil is basically only thing not replaced that could possibly cause misfire (in my mind anyways).
AC Delco spark plugs and wires were used, the rest Im not sure about. Not sure what Delco parts are still made and which are not anymore. Any help is appreciated. She doesnt feel safe driving it. Thanks in advance.
