My 1st post:
I've owned a 2001 Sierra extended cab, step-side (BTW I'm told 2001 was the last year the step-side was available) 4x2. since new.
The brakes are incredible! The truck has 160K and still has the original brakes! I was told the brakes were "improved" when GMC changed to this body style (no kidding!)
Since they'll eventually need replacing, I'm wondering what sort of experience you all have had with finding OEM brake pads. And how are they wearing?
