My 2002 Envoy has a problem with the ac/heater. You can feel the air getting warm, but the fan doesn't always come on. It did the same thing in the summer with the a/c, but I had forgotten about it until the heater didn't come on. Any ideas about what could be the problem?

Update on my heater issue

I recently talked to a gentleman who said his son had what sounds like the same issue with his 2005 GMC truck and it was some kind of a relay or something. Does anyone know anything about this? I would like to see about getting it fixed, but I like to do my research before taking it in to a repair shop.

Question for ya....fan doesn't blow as in won't work in certain speeds? There is a VERY common problem with Envoys/Trailblazers with the blower motor resistor going out $30 part. Symptoms are this...intermitent (where's spell check? lol) blower working or not working on certain speeds. Or certain speeds completely not working at all, but other speeds do. Located behind the glovebox, 2 screws hold it to the blower access from the bottom, under the glovebox after trim is removed. Check male connector for being burnt, yet another common problem. Mine is burnt right now with speed #5 not working. I've done this repair on 3 different TB's and Envoy's, pretty easy.
