im asking for a buddy of mine who needs to rebuild or replace his transfer case in a 2002 Gmc sierra 1500 5.3l reg cab. long bed. electronic shift. automatic.
his id tag says 131-236. we were looking into it thinking we are looking for an np 236. but upon some reading ive seen that the 2002 full size pickups have np 246s as opposed to the 236. i only have read of one other case where a full size had a 236 and alot of people were questioning that.
so i was looking for any info on if these trucks may have come with a 236 at all and there just something we may be missing. thanks for any help
