2002 GMC Sierra Emergency Brake Shoes

Has anybody ever replaced their emergency brake shoes on a 1999-2007 Sierra? I am thinking about replacing mine since I will already have the rear rotors off, but I am not sure about the process. Would I need brake drum tools, or will basic tools be enough? Thanks in advance for your input.

no tools needed to replace them. Remove rotor push down ebake shoes and remove. You will see how easy it is once you do it 5 mins with the rotors off.
