my truck is having severe problems ever since i got my head gasket and head replaced. it was running fine after it was done but was making noises. there is a ticking noise every time i accelerate and also almost like a water rushing noise when its idling. that's been going on for a few weeks and then all of a sudden i started having a rough idle in reverse and also in drive. and it even died on me when i was reversing out of my driveway. and when i accelerate it skips and rpm jump around like crazy. i have no idea whats going on and i am hoping i can fix it myself.
any ideas?

i have also had new plugs and wires done on the truck prior to the new head gasket. i also have no check engine light on at all.
