Hello my name is Ben (Ben626) I just bought my self a 2002 Gmc Sierra 2500HD. It has the 6.0. When I bought it I knew the gauge didn't work. I talked to some people they said the stepper motor so I lined up a guy to fix it but found out 2002 don't have stepper motors. so then I replaced the sending unit with a new one from Napa. Still the same problem.
I took the cluster out and took the clear plastic off I can move the needle around as soon as I plug it in it goes back to the same position. Should I try another sending unit? Any help is appreciated
