2002 Sonoma Question

I have a 2002 Sonoma. When you make a hard right left turn, I hear this loud almost popping noise coming from the right front. What could be causing this?

Yes, it is 4x4. It's a Zr2. First post should read "make a hard left turn..."

Being a 4wd, good chance its going to be your CV joint, your best off to replace both left and right side half shaft since your going to be replacing one side.

You can grab your half shaft and see if there is any play in it, and if there is. Then its a sure sign that's its worn out and will need to be replace lol. If you can not feel any play in it, then its just a matter of time as it will get worst.
