2003 4.3 sls ext cab suspension ?

I have a 2003 that has 108k miles. Doing some maint and i wont to get some options and opinions from you guys.

The window sticker that came with the car says it has ZQ8 susp?

What should i get as far as struts to replace what i have front and rear

Also,
There seems to be a bit of play in the steering wheel, is this common.

I was going to get rid of the truck but it is paid for LOL

You can go with the http://www.monroe.com/products/reflex_monotube.asp or the http://www.monroe.com/products/reflex_truck.asp which is more firm then the monotube. Both are great or lowered suspension and cornering, you also should replace your sway bar end link bushings with urethane bushings. There not that expansive and for the price of the bushings, your going to get a ride better then new.

As for the play in your steering wheel, replace your idler arm and inspect your tie rod ends for excessive play. You can get away with greasing the your steering linkages with marine grease, the marine grease cost a few cent more but have better water resistance and last longer then conventional grease.

Don't forget to grease your drive shaft also and service your transmission and differential at 108 K's.
