2003 GMC Sierra 2500 vs 2500HD front treadwidth

Stupid question.
Is there a difference in the hub width part of the rotors on a 2500HD vs a 2500.
I have a regular 2500 with 2WD. The treadwidth is 3 inches wider in the front than in the back, and I HATE the way it looks. I know the 2500HDs are supposed to be like that, but are the regular 2500's like that also?? I don't want to widen the rear, I want to narrow the front. Is there any possible way to do this?? I have a feeling that the owner of the truck before me replaced the original rotors on my 2500 with 2500HD rotors. I've heard there's a difference between the 2 models but don't know what it is.
I know it's a stupid thing to complain about, but I'd like to make the treadwidths even without putting wheelspacers in the back and making the truck look wider all the way around.

Here is the dimension to your wheel track.
Track (Front) 68.6
Track (Rear) 66.0

It's the 4wd front system that makes the front wheels stick out more then the rear since the geometry is needed to make the wheels not hit any suspension parts then turning left or right. Only real fix would be to run a different set of rims with different back space rims for the rear.

Try to stay away from wheel spacers. Some state and insurance company will not recognize the spacers as a on road use and you my not be covered by your insurance company or may be fined by your local police.

On another page it shows the front treadwidth for a stock Sierra 2500 (which is what I have, not a 2500HD) as 65. That's why I'm wondering if the previous owner swapped something out (like the rotors) to make the treadwidth on mine wider like an HD.
