2003 gmc sierra 4.8 swap 2004 gmc sierra 6.0?

hi , i war wondering if i can swap engine and tranny on 2003 gmc sierra 4.8 swap 2004 gmc sierra 6.0.. 4.8 is mine my neighbor had total wreck his truck on one side passenger... engine still running has 96k miles.. his selling it for $1000... my truck has 188k miles still running strong some minor tunning like flowmaster super 10,k&n cold air intake and superchip programer..

You can, just don't forget to swap out the PCM and wire harness and engine and transmission mounts also.
