2003 GMC Sierra Denali Gauges?

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra Denali Quadrasteer with 116,000 miles. I have taken care of scheduled maintenance but have problems with the instrument gauges. The Tach is reading approx. 500rpm below normal, The 0il gauge is reading max and not reseting when the truck is turned off, Water and Trans temp. is reading low. The Speedometer and Voltage gauge seem to be working properly. I placed a test ground clip between the engine and battery(-). The test results were negative. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I can't find any coverage for your Danali.Looks like you may have to bite the bullet and get your instrument cluster replaced at your expense.

Common problem, it needs a cluster repair or replacement. Not one of GM's better ideas.

Just type in silverado or sierra dash or instrument cluster problems on a web search, and look how many you find.

This should help and good luck, if you think this is more then you can handle. You can get the instrument panel replaced or pick on up at Ebay.

Tom, AUTOEXPRESSTECH.COM send it to them in Holbrook mass they will fix you right up I just had them do mine an 04GMC sierra. They are very simple to remove about 15 minutes and they are out. auto express did a great job and it cost $99.00 plus shipping and you can run the vehicle with out and it should take about 5 days total up,fix it and back. They do it in a day. GM will not cover it over 70,000/7 years old they have guage cluster trouble with 03,04,05,06 the steppin motors were junk .Auto express will replace all the motors and with life time warrenty on the motors. it is the best way and you don't need to recalibrate it using yours when you get it back unhook your battery to reset computer and you will be just like new, Sure beats $350.00-$600.00 to replace the cluster and then need to recalibate the new one

It may have to many miles on it but check with your dealer they may do something for you. They are replacing cluster on the Sierra's for free
