My truck has 100,000 km on it.I think plugs should be changed only at 160,000 km.Am I right or wrong?

That's about right where your going to need to give it a tune up. Plugs, wire set, Distributor cap and rotor, thermostat and coolant flush. Almost for got the fuel filter, drive-train (transmission / differential) also and the rest of the service as you already should know.

The plugs will seize there self on the heads due to corrosion and will take some time for you to remove them, it may be in your favor to let the penetrating oil do it's magic before you start this project. I my self try to replace the spark plugs on my Jimmy no longer then 2years regardless and make sure you use OEM distributor cap and rotor, the after market will fail on about 6 months giving you miss fires and ignition whine throughout your radio.
