I have a GMC Sierra 1500, and I've had the same issue with my vehicle. It's proving to be dangerous to even drive the vehicle. I've replaced all of the normal culprits by now.
Truck is producing an error message "Reduced Engine Power" in October 2016, the scanned code was P1125; the APP Sensor and Pedal. Component was replaced in October 2016 by d**k Norris Buick GMC Palm Harbor. R.E.P Warning still displays, and engine continues to lose power despite repairs.
Truck was taken to d**k Norris Buick GMC Palm Harbor a second time to find out why their repair was ineffective. Their mechanics stated the following:
· Throttle Body (Connector / throttle wire is damaged) According to GMC this component is not original
· Oxygen Sensor needs replacement. On 3/20 I had the throttle body replaced, along with the throttle wires. The O2 sensors were replaced, and 2 wheel speed sensors were cleaned and one was replaced.
The issue persists. I'm at whits end, and swearing never to buy another GMC / Chevy vehicle. Can anyone help me out here? Restore my faith in American made products?
