my 2003 sierra has the following problems.
one day i was headed out and i noticed my remote wouldnt unlock it, no light flicker or anything. so i manually unlocked it thinking it may just be my remote battery. anyways i try starting it and it sounded like the typical start but after a sceond of being on, it shuts off and "battery not charging " displayed on my dash. so i took the battery and alternator to get checked and they check fine. checked all fuses and they were all fine. so my auto lights, windows, locks, door lights and radio do not work. my horn manual lights, blinkers, and compass/ temp gauge do though. so i sprayed some starting fluid in the airbox past the mass airflow sensor and it ran until the fluid was used up.
my question is if it is the fuel pump or filter... why are my electronics not working either? i hear my fuel pump kick on as i turn the ignition over. is there another fuse box besides the one right beside the battery? could it be my trucks computer? oh and i hooked it up to a code reader and the reader detects my truck, but no fail codes appear. what could it be? i appreciate any opinions.
