I live in Canada and exchanged my instrument cluster with a re-conditioned one from the USA about 3 years ago, because most of the instruments started playing up and stopped working - EXCEPT MY CRUISE CONTROL - WHICH WORKED FINE.

AFTER REMOVING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (in Canada) and exchanging it in the USA with a USA version (MPH on the outside of the needle, KM's on the outside of the needle for the Canadian versions) - I returned home and fitted it - all of my problems were fixed - EXCEPT, NOW MY CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND THE GREEN CRUISE LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON

Does anyone know what the differences are or what I need to check or change to get it working again - as I no longer have access to my old instrument cluster to refit it and check to confirm that it is the NEW INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM?

Brake light switches work fine - I have no idea where else to start

Any help would be appreciated and I give more vehicle details if needed - except any details written or printed on the back of the original instrument cluster.

Your brake light switch is probably bad. Under $20 fix, check out on YouTube.
