Hello everyone. I searched the forums but don't see anything obvious out here. I have a driver's side rain leak, under the dash. I see the drip above the brake pedal area. It only happens when it rains. Not AC related etc. I would appreciate any help in general that others have experienced related to cab leaks in this area.

109 views with no response? Once I get the factory manual, and remove the dash, and fix the leak, I will post the fix. Rock on GM owners. It take a lot of patience. Rattling steering column and all!!!!

Have you tried running water from a garden hose across your windshield or by your vent at the bottom of the windshield. It could be a bad seal on your windshield or a clogged drain deflector that is pooling water across the bottom of your windshield and hood and flowing through your fresh air vent.

Regardless, good luck and keep us posted.

water leak in cab

I am tracking down a leak in my 2004 GMC under the dash on the passenger side. It only leaks when it rains. I have been reading that several posing and it sound like the window seal is to blame. My next step is to run a hose to it and see if i can find the point of entry.
