I've babied this truck and no one drives it but me. Yesterday, a small piece of plastic came off in my hand when I reached into the glove box latch to pull it open. The last person to open it was the dealer's mechanic who put the vehicle inspection in. I've had other problems with the dealer breaking things, but he's usually made good. So, from what I've read, you have to buy a whole new box (poor design) and it's about $200. Should I talk to the dealer to see if they will stand by it or try to broker some type of discount. There's no reason a pickup with 65,000 mile should have a broken glove box. Of course, there's no warranty now.
