2004 GMC Sierra Max Tire Size

Just got a 2004 GMC Sierra SLE 2WD, I'm going to put a 3 inch body lift on my truck myself, and i really would want to put 315/75/16 on my stock Rims... Will they fit? Ive heard the 305's would fit but I definitely Prefer the 315's

Anyone else done or tried this? Any advise?

Why don't you ask a few tire shops? There not going to give you bad advise and should be a little conservative if anything.
