I've ordered the factory replacement stabalizer link for a 2500hd. I plan on replacing it because the drivers side link is broke. I believe all I need is a socket, and a pair of vice grips. Any input for making this go quick and easy? Also is the torque spec 17 ft lbs for the nut on the lower side? I read that somewhere, but want to make sure. Thank You

pretty basic. just getting access to.

spray with pb blaster prior to working on, allow to soak in for a while.but you may need a torch to heat the nut if seized on.

"Tighten the nut to 10 Y (89 lb in). Continue to tighten the nut until 2–4 threads protrude above the nut"
