I got this Envoy about 16 months ago and already put about $2500 into it. Now im having some other issues.
1. Has been happening for a while, It seems when I drive for a while it "Locks" in park. Now Ive read where peoples gears get locked and cant go back to park or its in park but its in neutral. My case is, I will drive for a while and lets say to get gas, then I get back in. Start it back up .. its "Locked" I cant push the button in, its as if im not pressing the brake down. Then usually after a while I can go back out and boom it works. Now like in dodges there's a pink piece (after you remove the cover) you can pull back on and it will make it possible to shift. Anyone got ideas here on my problem.
2. Also today I got a check engine light error. My Diag tester says its a P0132 only. Ive got some conflicting answers as to where the Oxygen sensor is, which according to the code seems to be the problem. Ive read its by drivers side of the engine and then seen its on the bottom of the car. So on my 2005 Envoy anyone got any ideas.
I would appreciate any help on this, as shops to just look at cars around here cost a ton of money and they a usually backlogged weeks. I would like to be able to know if this stuff I can fix myself if possible. I used to be able to work decently on older cars/trucks (mid 90s and before). So far what I gather its just some understanding of things and I should be able to do it. Thanks.
