Can the pod of the door switches be replaced or does the whole switch and pod come together as one

The switch can be replaced on it's own, but it's expensive. Your better off picking one up at a Salvage Yard if you can or fixing your switch, common for the contacts in the switch to go and in most case can be cleaned with electrical contact cleaner that can be bought at most electronic shop like Radio shack.

Started to remove the switch control panel by prying up on the side of the panel releasing the clips. To unplug the mirror control switch, push on the white tab at end of the wire connector and pulled. Next press with your thumb on the wire connector tab and pulled the wire from the window switch. Then remove the wire connector from the door lock switch and replace the switch.
