I own a 2005 Sierra 1500 base 2WD std cab 4.8L. I am looking for the spare tire hoist and tool kit since my hoist rusted out and the truck is missing all the tools. In my searches on ebay and craigslist, I get conflicting info on what years are compatible with mine. A GM dealer told me 2004-07 would work, but everything I see online states 1999-2006 or thereabouts. What should I be looking for, since no one specifies 04-07? That same GM dealer quoted me the hoist and tools at over $500!
