2006 sierra dash lights? please help!!

just wondering if anyone has replaced there dash lights with LEDs, i have a few burnt out and would like to replace all of them with leds...has anyone done this? where can i find them?

They are not serviceable unless you send them to the electronic service center, they rebuild the cluster an;)d sell them as re-manufactured units.:mad:

You can replace the bulbs if you have some soldering skills, but you'll have to dis-assemble the entire thing. Most clusters are using LEDs for illumination and it is rare to see one burned out.

I do agree it is silly to not have the bulbs serviced but I think the idea is that LEDs almost never burn out. I cannot remember the last time I had a cluster with a burned out bulb. :D

You might be lucky that the bulbs are not burnt out and the connection may just be loose from a cold solder from the bulb heating up through out its life. Giving the board a light tap to where the bulb is may get it to start working again. ;)

yeah i know you have to solder them, im just not sure if theres a certain type of bulb and how to tell which is the positive and negitive side on the circuit board
