Hello All,

I am looking for a DIY or Vid on replacing the Valve Cover Gaskets on a 2007 GMC Acadia 3.6L.

I was replacing the plugs today & noticed oil in the Spark-Plug tubes & suspect it's the actual spark-plug tube seal or gasket & need to remove the VCG first so will be replacing that as well.

I am stuck as one of the bolts on the VC seems to not be accessible while all others are, the one bolt is under the lower intake manifold - looking for a DIY please or Pic's of the entire process please. I cannot find anything on-line.

any help here with a DIY with Pic's or a Vid would be great!!

Please & thanks

You did not specify what side valve cover you are stuck on. But looking at the procedure for the left valve cover, it states the following;

remove upper intake
remove lower intake
remove coils
remove the power steering bracket

I believe he talked about the right side valve cover which is located in rear where nut/bolt are hard to reach. He seemed stuck on one bolt under the lower intake manifold.
