Can anyone tell me if theres an adjustment to the hood latch? Theres about an 1/8 or so of up and down play and it causes the hood to bounce up and down. Both the striker and the latch have no indication of any wear on them. This is driving me nuts! I saw a new latch for 75 on ebay, but dont want to buy it only to have the same issue when i put it on. By looking at the latch it's pinned to only go on one spot... HELP PLZ!

On the radiator cross member frame, there are hood bumper's that can be adjusted by turning them to raise them and lower them closer to the frame. Here is a link so you know what i am talking about, #27 are the hood bumper adjusters.
There are going to be two of them, one on each side and all you have to do is turn them to the left or right to adjust the height. Take note that you don't want them up to high or your going to have a hard time releasing the hood from the latch when you pull the hood release.
Good luck and keep us posted, the other thing is to drive to a Auto Body shop and ask them for advice and i am sure they can help you on something this simple to adjust.

NO worries and see that it's a 07, it should be time to service the coolant, thermostat and your transmission. Good luck and keep us posted on your hood adjustment.
