2007gmc envoy chimes.

I just bought a 2007 gmc envoy and there seems to be some chimes ringing all the time. the chime sounds off four times twice every minute or so. even when the vehicle is not running. the chime is not very loud,but annoying after awhile. cannot tell where it is coming from or why. any suggestions? please.

I'm trying to remember, we had this issue a few times.....My best guess is that your rear sliding top is not completely closed or the center gate is not closed.
One of the latches/locks is "open" and that's causing the chiming. Well, if you have those; we have an XUV which has the fold down center gate and the sliding roof over the back end that opens up.

If the center gate is up but not properly latched, it will chime; same for the convertible top.
