2008 Electrical Gremlins when brakes pressed

When I press my brakes I am noticing that my head lights dim. Today it caused the radio to cut off, but come back on as soon as I released the brake. Also caused all the locks to unlock and lock again. In addition to all of this it displays that stabilitrack is disabled. Any idea what would cause this? Truck has 55K miles.

I have noticed my '08 lights flicker when the brakes are applied as well. Not to the extent of your problem though. I chalk mine up to the regulator within the alternator. I'd have your alt checked out first then maybe look for a ground issue. Good luck and I'll be interested in seeing what you find out so I can look into it on mine.

If i'm not mistaken (and it may be different than with mine), but it might be a warranty item. I'm saying a huge maybe on this one. I remember a friend of mine had a similar issue, and they shot it down to a computer issue, and it was covered under the powertrain part of the warranty. It's worth a shot anyway, a phone call is cheap to your local dealer. Hope it helps.
