I tried using the built in search system, but was unable to find a thread that comes close to this, so I made a new thread.

So I recently bought a 2009 Acadia SLT1, used at a local dealer.
currently at 108k, services seem to have been done(carfax reported, and everything looks good).

after purchase, had to replace the keyless entry remotes(not provided by previous owner to dealer).

There are currently two problems with the vehicle(that may be related, however I'm unsure about that).

1) remote start inoperative(lights flash, and I can hear a relay behind the dash cycling, but no vehicle start)

2) recent issue, only the drivers door lock functions with the power lock switches and remotes. all other locks must be operated manually.
I've checked both power lock switches for operation, and they unlock/lock the drivers door, but no others.
when shifting to/from park, the drivers door lock functions, but no others.

I am wondering if anyone knows what could cause both of these things, or if a possible aftermarket alarm install(there's a valet button on the gauge cluster bezel that I am unsure is factory) could cause it.

any help with these issues is appreciated.
