Best bet is to bring your Sierra to a Air conditioning shop. The tech at the dealer may not have enough experience with the way the A/C system works and what the best high and low side readings should be from the manifold gauges.

Good luck and keep us posted, could be the system may just be a little low on R134a and will need to be recharged. :D

If you are unsatisfied with the service that you got at the original dealership you went to then you may also try another dealership for a second opinion. I apologize but I do not have information on how cold the air conditioning in your vehicle is supposed to be but a dealership's service staff should be able to diagnose most if not all problems you have with the vehicle. Also if you do take the vehicle into the dealership you should still be covered by the 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, under normal circumstances. I hope this helps you. If you run into additional problems feel free to contact me.

thanx, it turns out that i didn't set it for inside air , the default is outside air & to help the air-condition you roll down the window found out when my brother was riding with me, he has an newer car too. its not like the older cars where the air-condition stays at the same setting... thanx again now i'm glad it was a simple fix... My wife & I can enjoy our GMC again.....the best truck we had (we upgraded from a canyon because we loved the GMC quick acceleration so much)
