I have a clunk noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain when the truck shifts into 3rd. I didn't pay much attention to it before but my warranty is up in 2000km. Any ideas?

Hard to say what the noise could be without driving it. Might just be typical backlash from normal wear and tear. Can you drive in a way that does not make it clunk or does it clunk every single time no matter what? If you coast and then slam on the gas something is bound to clunk and I would not expect that to be a sign of something amiss.

Could be the universal joints need to be serviced, its rare those last especially in harsh enviroments where salt is used on the roadways. Corrosion is usually the factor when u-joints go bad.

It usually happens when I'm just accelerating normally. There is 60k on the truck. Could just be backlash in gears but seems to be more apparent know
