Hey ya'll,

I've got an opportunity to purchase a 2010 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax 4WD, Regular Cab, Long Box for a pretty good deal through my company. I haven't driven a newer(newer than 98) GMC truck yet, so I was hoping to hear the good, the bad and the ugly from current users that have these trucks. On a side note, I specified regular cab long box because that works best for what I want.

Specifically, I want to know what owner's opinions are on maintenance & vehicle issues (even new trucks have them), driver comfort, handling, how they feel while towing heavy loads (~10,000lbs), etc. I don't want to just hear fluff pieces talking about how this is the best. I drive an '09 Ford for work, and while its nice, powerful, etc, I personally don't find it comfortable to sit in all day while driving. I really want to hear the good, and the bad. Whatever vehicle I purchase, I will be driving in it a lot (20,000+ miles a year) so I want comfort as well as ability.

Let me know what ya'll think, I'd be glad to hear it,

Chris

To get the best opinion your looking for, find your local tow truck driver that has Sierra or Silverado since there the same trucks. Tow truck operator can give you the best feel for the truck as they do lots of wait time in the trucks and tow different size and weight of vehicles.

Good luck and hope your get the answers your looking for, here is a link that you can read about the Sierra 2010 road test.

Tow truck drivers...thats actually a pretty sweet idea. They do spend a lot of time in the trucks. I'll have to see what I can find.

Thanks
