I have a 2010 GMC Sierra 4x4 5.3L 4 door. I had a Supposed to be reputable after market audio shop install a roof mount DVD player in my truck. After installation I walked outside and my truck was running with the keys in my hand and I did not remote start it and it would not cut off, they took it back to the shop and an hour later they came out and were stumped and I told them to just unhook it and I would find someone who knows what they are doing. A few days after installation of the DVD player the check engine light came on and showed code P2534 ignition low circuit. It has stumped several people. I did some investigating and found 3 wires coming off of the top socket on the BDC that they put a splice on, I repaired those wires and it is still showing the code with the check engine light on. Does anyone have any clue as to what it could be and what direction I need to go with the exception of taking it to a dealer.
