Well I am selling my jeep wrangler and looking to buy a GMC 1500 SL 4.8 with 40k and CPO certified,any issues i should know about? i preferd the 4x4 lever then any electronic knob,i have been reading different topics on 5.8 vs 4.8 in my case it is all about money I do not tow at all so I figure I would go with a 4.8 price was right ,I also have been reading about gas millage ,well my jeep averages 13- 14 MPG about 240 miles per tank and $50- $60 to fillup so anything better then that I am happy what do the 4.8 avg on miles to a full tank? And avg miles per gal

I have a 2011 1500 5.3 liter and yesterday day I filled up at 3.73 and to only fill up 3/4 of a tank was $75.

I have a 2012 1500 4X4 with the 4.8 and auto trans, I have been averaging 16 - 18 mpg.
