I have 2010 GMC Sierra regular cab long box with 4.3. The truck has had an engine surge of 200-300 rpm when driving between 55km and 85km. But goes away after that. Truck has 113,00 mm with about a month of power train warranty left. Truck has been to the dealership 5 time and I was told today that GM engineer say the truck is within speck. Any help would be great. Work done so far TCC, reprogramming of transmission new torque converters and wiring harness for the teams but still problem continues. I made a video to show surge if I can load it. Some times the surge is worse then others and gets more extreme with speed. This is just a sample.

Check to see if your brake light switch needs adjustments. Your brake peddle may be coming one and off from a miss aligned switch to your brake peddle.

You can check this by using your cruise control set at the spreed your experiencing where you say your getting the surge. Every time the the switch comes on, your cruise control should disengage and you should feel the TCC disengage also.

Keep us posted and be safe.

i can put the cruise on and it stays on. Thanks for the suggestion, taking it to s different dealership tomorrow, where I have had a mechanic drive it and tell me this is not normal. Unlike the dealership that has done all my service work and where I bought the truck from
