2011 Acadia SLE - Transmission Fluid Leak

My 2011 AWD Acadia with 11k miles is leaking transmission fluid. Any similar experiences or fixes for this problem?

I would like to apologize for the issues that you are experiencing with your Acadia. I would suggest that you have your dealer look into this for you. If my math is correct it is still under warranty. Seems like a no brainer to me.

As usual, Greater Lowell GMC provided great service. The good news is the leak was not from the transmission. The steering module gear failed causing damage to the housing which in turn caused the leak. Updated module replaced, problem seems to be solved.
Dealer did communicate they are seeing this problem on occasion.
Seems odd that the 5th year with this current model would have this type of failure. I also recently had stabilizer rods and control arm bushings replaced due to squeaking in the front end. Hope this it with the "bugs".
