2011 GMC Denali GPS update

Our truck is now 3 yrs old and we would like to update the GPS system. I contacted GM and they want $300.00 to send me an DVD update. I feel $300.00 is a rip off, so I'm wondering if anyone updated their built in GPS at a less cost from a 3rd party vendor.
