Well, just bought a new 2012 SLT1 Acadia... first GMC although I do own a 2002 Chevy Duramax Diesel pickup, which has been the best truck I have ever had...and will probably be the last... hope this GMC Acadia does as well.

Well, I like the car, but the dealer has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth... 4 things... 1. he low balled me on my trade... to the tune of about 1K... which was really my fault cause I trusted them and did not do my homework... bad mistake... 2. I caught a $300 error in their paperwork... in their favor... had I not read the contract, they would have gotten another $300 out of me.... they said "oh, sorry??" 3. They sent me a letter 3 weeks after the purchase and informed me that there was an error in the small payoff for my trade and they wanted me to pay them $250. to make up the difference... they were the ones that called for the payoff and they made the error... not me... I told them I had no intention of paying for their mistake... they then said... "no problem, we'll take care of it?" 4. I had a question for the GMC customer service folks and come to find out that the dealer that I purchased from... was no longer a GM dealer and now I will have to drive 55 miles to another dealer to have warranty or other GM work done... had I known this in the beginning, I would have purchase at another dealer... they represented themselves as a GM dealer when I bought the car.... 12/31/12... they ended their GM affiliation in 2012... the same day that I made the purchase... so, I am happy with the vehicle but not at all happy with the dealer. Buyer beware... I'm a big boy and can deal with it but it is very disheartening when business people turn out to be... well, let's just say, less than honest in their dealings... oh, well.... live and learn. I won't name the dealer, only to say he is a Honda dealer now... and although I like Honda's... I can tell ya, I won't be setting foot in this guys establishment again... and he is opening a really nice new dealership in this town....
