Had this car a couple months now. I've read about issues with engine gaskets and pressure so I replaced the oil cap with one that is vented. The problem I'm going to describe however has happened both before and after replacing that oil cap.

About two weeks ago the has started shaking hard when at a stop with the foot on the brake. It does this in my driveway or at a light or stop sign but only when the car is in gear (stops immediately if I put it in Neutral or Park, only in D or R or Manual will it exhibit the problem). It also doesn't do this right away, only when we've been driving for a while, presumably once the engine is warm.

It isn't a vibration so much as a feeling that the car is trying to lurch forward, violently. I feel like if I don't keep my foot on the gas, it'll surge forward out of control. The weird thing is, though, once I DO let off the brake and start driving it stops shaking, no matter how fast or slow I go. The other night it actually killed the engine (on my driveway which has a pretty significant slope) but started back up right away no problem.

I don't seem to notice any lack of compression or torque when driving.

THoughts? Clogged PCV? Throttle body? Torque converter? Like I said, when actually driving it's fine, same if I put it in N or Park, but at a stop with my foot on the brake it starts bucking like an angry horse.
