I have a 2013 Sierra 1500, 5.3. It has the factory trailer brake control. Yesterday, I tried hooking up to my trailer. It says "Trailer Connected" on the DIC, but will not read the "Output"....just showing 6 dashed lines (- - - - - -). The trailer brakes will not engage. The trailer breaks work fine on a friends dodge (we hooked it up to rule out any possibilities.) Am I missing something? Is there a way to bypass anything to get the output to work? All fuses were checked and good.
