3 month old truck that I love, except since day one, the Air Recirculation Button doesn't stop outside odors from entering the cabin!!! I smell everything from the outside whether the Recirculate is on or off. In traffic sometimes I literrally can almost not breath from the exhausts!!

I've had this in to dealer, and they showed me that the recirculation door does close (or appears to) but that doesn't stop the issue!

On the GMC trucks forum, there are many that have had the same problem...the GM resolution is stupid and lacks logic , plus it doesn't prevent outside odor from entering the cabin. The darn owners manual even says to prevent outdoor odors from entering the vehicle press the recirculation button!!!! The whole 'working as designed' comments are ignorant and incompetent. I've never owned a vehicle or rented one for that matter, that did not prevent the outside odors from entering the cabin when in recirculate.

Cmon GM figure this out, this week I really felt as if I was going to pass out from the exhaust fumes in traffic. This is an issue, and if GM or anyone else reading this has a fix please let me know.

I will be trading this in in the next 2 months if it isn't resolved, and doing everything I can in social media to escalate and draw attention to this if I can't get resolution on a $50K vehicle.
