So I am in a position that I don't like, but have a need to tow a trailer with my Acadia. I am hoping to tow a 6X12 single axle cargo trailer on a 100 mile interstate, each way trip.

I know that the Acadia is tow rated to handle the weight. But the size of the cargo trailer is my concern. Is the Acadia up to this tow?

I should ad that this is in Iowa. Not flat land, but no mountains.

I used my '17 Limited (same platform as yours) and towed my 900 lb. Harley in a 6x10 single axle trailer (total tow load about 2500 lb.) from NY to South Florida and points West with no problems. A 4500 mile total trip and I probably towed about 3500 of those miles, Acadia handled it fine and that included towing over the mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee. Only issue was very bad gas mileage, probably around 12-13 while towing. Good Luck!
