2015 Sierra 8-Speed Transmission

Bought my 2015 end of last year, and recently had it in for it's first schedules service, oil change, etc. Mentioned to the dealership that I've noticed the stiffness of the transmission, at times seeming as though to fight with the 6.2L engine. The service rep just began shaking his head, indicating that GMC knows they have a problem and although a software patch has been tried, they have ceased propagating it out to customers because it apparently made things worse. I find this ludicrous, and in my case incredibly ironic. I traded in my 2014 Sierra (6-speed with the same large engine) in order to get the more "sophisticated" transmission. And my previous truck was a helluva lot smoother through acceleration/deceleration. Anyone have similar experience/thoughts?

I am having the same issue. Recently it seems to be getting worse and worse, esp when shifting from park. Dealer kinda blew me off also when I said something at my service appointment.
Read a lot of different forums about it, but doesn't seem like much is getting done. I pull a camper behind mine (Reason I bought the truck) and when it acts up you really feel it with the camper in tow. Sad we have all had to go through this with little to know help. Have always been a GM guy but in 24ish more months when my lease it up...bye bye GM
