2016 Acadia Denali Transmission Trouble

Last week the transmission on our 21,000 mile AWD Denali would not go into reverse, a call to GM Roadside Assistance got us a tow so we could drive forward, we were real close to our dealer and was able to limp into the service department. they replaced 3-5-reverse clutch plates and the broken housing and flushed lines.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
