2016 Sierra Denali 3500 Navigation System Question

Hello, and thank you for the forum, I am brand new here! I purchased a 2016 Sierra Denali 3500 for towing our new 5th wheel. Only have 800 miles so I am taking it slow with towing right now. But this morning I think I had my first disappointment with the new truck specifically the Navigation System. Read the manual, and also chatted with GMC on the owners site about inputting GPS coordinates as a destination into the system, they told me it can't be done. Is this true? With as sophisticated system like this I can't believe you can't input GPS coordinates , tell me it ain't so.

I am trying to do something very similar. I am curious if you ever found a resolution to your problem?

The issue I am experiencing is trying to download a file containing a list of GPS coordinates as POI's.
