Hey everyone, first time GMC buyer as well as not been in the game of aftermarket parts in a long time. I think the last time I shopped around for aftermarket parts the intake powered fans that were "+10hp and +3mpg" were a thing. Hence why I'm here.
I've been perusing the internet just looking at the different options out there for my truck. Some of the claims seem pretty wild so I wanted to come and ask those of you who have been there and done that.
Looking at bang for the buck types of upgrades, mostly hoping for some mpg improvements but hp would be great as well. One of the more wild claims I've seen are some OBD-II Plug and Play Tuners, some claiming Stage-based improvements between 20-60hp and 1-6mpg (very skeptical, but wanted to make sure with you guys). Any info/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Vehicle is a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L V8.
