305 to 350 vortec swap wont start

Figured Id give this a shot got a 98 k1500 had a 305 in it but with 9 inch lift an 37s didn last to long but anyways put put the 350 in an won't start jus cranks. The 350s got 305 heads on it an yes both are vortecs got the 350 knock sensor on almost everythin was replaced but not all new
Had a problem timin the distributor on this motor but perty sure it's in time
Right now the problem is no spark still gotta check coil but wonderin if anybodys done a vortec swap an knos somin else to look for.

I can't say for sure what your problem is regarding spark. However, about two years ago I saw an article online that discussed in detail swapping a 305 for a 350. The article said that the main vehicle computer ( ECM ? ) also had to be swapped , or the fuel injection system would not work properly . The 305 injectors flow less fuel, so a 305 ECM would not work properly with the 350 motor.
 
Alrighty got spark now got fuel but still no fire replaced timin chain cam lifters crank position sensor an cam sensor still got the 305 PCM on it with 305 heads an stock pistons any ideas any body? Thanks
